Vision and Scale of VACEO Vietnam
VACEO (short for VCCI-Andrews CEO Alumni Vietnam) initially launched with 165 alumni. By the end of June 2026, the Liaison Committee plans to further consolidate and add members the Quang Ninh and Hanoi K02 cohorts, bringing the total scale to approximately 350 CEOs and Executives across Hanoi and neighboring provinces.
The VACEO Vietnam community operates based on two core principles:
"Substantive Connectivity": Every activity must generate tangible, measurable value.
"Applied Knowledge": CEOs learn one another as sources of practical, real-world expertise.
Strategic Action Plan
To realize these goals, VACEO Vietnam has outlined a diverse series of activities, including:
Business Tour Program: Monthly site visits to member enterprises where the collective intelligence of the group is leveraged to discuss and propose practical solutions for challenges facing the host business.
Alumni Webinars: Bi-monthly thematic seminars focusing on highly applicable topics in management, strategy, and technology.
Internal Marketplace & Intergenerational Mentoring: Establishing a platform for networking and preferential internal trade, alongside experience-sharing between senior and junior cohorts.
Annual Gala & CSR Activities: An annual event to honor successful connections and implement Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives under the VACEO brand.

Expanding the Network
Looking ahead, VACEO Vietnam intends to proactively initiate connections with the VCCI CEO alumni community in Ho Chi Minh City to build a North-South network. Simultaneously, the organization will collaborate with Andrews University to expand exchange opportunities within the international academic community.
In this inaugural leadership structure, Mr. Dao Xuan Huong (General Director of GMPc Vietnam) serves as Chairman, supported by Mr. Tran Van Hieu (Deputy General Director of Thai Minh Pharmaceuticals), who takes on the role of Standing Vice Chairman.
The appointment of GMPc Vietnam’s leader as Chairman of this prestigious community is not only a point of pride for the company but also reflects a commitment to collective development. With his passion and management expertise, Mr. Dao Xuan Huong is expected to lead the CEO network in solving practical business problems while promoting social responsibility, thereby creating sustainable value for the community.
